One of my favorite trips of all time was to Bangkok and I’ve written about it on the blog before (shortly after I began it actually!). I talked about the best temples to see and how Bangkok is a combination of chaos and serenity, something you don’t get in these Asian megacities. Even between these two posts, I still didn’t include nearly as many photos as I would have liked.
When I went to Bangkok I could not get over how incredible the temples were and Wat Arun, the Temple of Dawn, is my personally favorite. We climbed to the top, after I was initially kicked out because my shorts were too short and I had to rent a sarong, and although it was basically a straight up climb it was totally worth it.
The other amazing thing about Bangkok is the food. From amazing street food (and real Pad Thai) to incredible fruit from even grocery stores, my mouth was watering almost every second of every day and truthfully I’m making myself hungry just thinking about it!
I hope you enjoy these photos of Bangkok as much as I do and if you haven’t been already, I hope you go! It is one incredible city.

Have any of you been to Bangkok before? What were your impressions of it? Personally, I can’t wait to go back one day!
