I’ve so enjoyed writing these holiday gift guides for you all and it’s helped me brainstorm gifts for the people in my life. If you’ve been following along I’ve written about gifts for the traveler, the coffee lover, the chef and finally today to wrap things up I’ve got the holiday gift guide for the impossible person. We all know that one person who needs or wants nothing or are just so picky it’s really hard to find anything good to give them! I hope this helps you all and I can’t believe Christmas is next week. Where has the time gone?! The good thing about this gift guide is most of this stuff can easily be purchased last minute if you’re a procrastinator like me.
A Bottle of Wine/Case Of Beer
Sometimes just buying someone a couple of bottles of their favorite wine or a case of beer can go a long way. Even if they don’t have a favorite, pick a nice one you think they would like, stick a bow on it and a card and you’re all set. If you want to kick it up a notch you can even attach some small snack items.
A Filled Mug
Along the same beverage theme, find or personalize a mug for them and then fill it with coffee, tea, hot chocolate or anything they like to drink. Maybe throw in some cookies and you’ve got yourself a cute, personal gift they’ll enjoy on a cold wintery night.
I will admit this only works if the person you’re buying for is in one of the few cities that are featured on these glasses, but I think they’re a really fun and novel idea. And everyone can use a glass.
If you know someone who drinks wine and likes their drinks cold this is the perfect gift. Instead of filling the glass of wine with ice which will then melt and water it down, these pearls are frozen and chill the drink without affecting the taste. I love my wine ice cold so I would love these!
A Game
Although at first this might seem like a childish suggestion, buying someone a game can lead to all sorts of fun! There are plenty of games out there for adults, one of my favorites being Cards Against Humanity. You could all play it together and they can whip it out at parties.
A Box Of Chocolate
No matter who you are, I’m sure you have at least one friend who loves chocolate. A box of Godiva or even Lindt would show you didn’t just buy them any old brand and their variety packs are amazing. When in doubt this is a great option for a lot of people!
Baked Goods
This is one of my favorites and my go-to with a lot of people! Make a huge batch of cookies or brownies or some other sweet, put them in cute gift bags, tie it with some nice ribbon and add a sweet card and you’ve got yourself a gift that’s tasty and shows you took the time to make something for them and that will make them feel loved. I guarantee it!
A Gift Card
When done right, a gift card can be one of the best gifts someone can receive. If you choose a store they like or you know they’ll like, they can buy what it is they want instead of potentially receiving something they don’t. Although people frown upon gift cards as gifts, I think they’re one of the best because it gives them the freedom to buy something they’ll truly love. And if you don’t want to buy a gift for a specific store, there are visa gift cards that can be used anywhere.
I hope these gift guides have given you some ideas on what to give your loved ones, coworkers and friends and I’ve had so much fun writing them! I can’t believe it’s almost Christmas, time flies. It would certainly feel more Christmassy though if it wasn’t constantly 70 degrees out (I live in the north, it should be cold!). I would love to hear if you guys are done with your holiday shopping or still have a bit more left like me.
