I’m really excited for my third photo essay in this new series. If you haven’t already, be sure to check out the previous two, beaches and wildlife. This week’s photo essay is the city of Sydney, Australia. I realized that I never actually wrote about Sydney, having been there three times. Hopefully, I’ll eventually get around to writing a destination guide for it, but until then, here are some awesome photos of the city itself.
Although my heart will always belong to Melbourne, Sydney is certainly impressive with its beautiful beaches, amazing architecture (hello Opera House and Harbour Bridge), as well as gardens, churches and more. Seeing as I was never there in the summer, I never did make it to Bondi Beach, but I don’t feel like I missed much. The city is beautiful and unique and there’s more to Australia than its beaches.
If you’ve been to Sydney, I’d love to hear what your favorite thing about it was!
